Group Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Open Hand! We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from our corporate, civic, faith and scholastic volunteer partners. Without you, there is no way we could effectively serve the thousands of friends and neighbors who rely on us each and every day.

Dates book up fast, so it’s best to try to reserve your group volunteer shift(s) as much in advance as possible. Our Volunteer Services team will always work diligently to match your group with the most impactful service opportunity possible.

Age and Chaperone Requirements for Groups: Groups of minors participating in Client Meal Packing must be at least 13 years old. There must be at least one adult chaperone for every five (5) minor volunteers. Every minor MUST bring along a waiver signed by their parent or guardian. Parents will need to make accounts for each child under 18 years old and bring in a signed waiver.  >> Click here to create an account.
