As you may be aware, Open Hand was forced to put our Good Measure Meals social enterprise on pause during the pandemic so that we could focus all of our resources on meeting the exponential increase in the demand for meals for Open Hand Atlanta's vulnerable clients.

 

 

Who could have never imagined that a temporary suspension would ultimately result in a 14-month long hiatus?

 

But we were blessed to have been able to navigate the hurdles in our way and are excited to be able to serve our Good Measure Meals customers once again!

The unexpected pause gave us an opportunity to step back, incorporate feedback from our loyal customers, streamline our operations, expand our delivery infrastructure, and enhance our ability provide our nutrition services virtually. All while continuing to produce hundreds of thousands of additional meals each month for our community's most vulnerable, medically-fragile individuals.
