Open Hand Atlanta believes everyone deserves access to proper nutrition. No matter your age. No matter where you call home. And no matter your health condition. With the help of 10,000+ volunteers, we prepare, pack and deliver over 5,000 healthy meals each day throughout metro-Atlanta to individuals who might otherwise go without because of their health condition or lack of mobility.

These individuals are not that different than you and me. They could easily be our grandmothers, our brothers, our aunts or our neighbors. They have children and pets, hobbies and interests. And we’d love for you to get to know them.

We hope you’ll take a few minutes to experience their stories and the stories of those who are dedicated to help us serve them. Remember, you don’t have to write the story — just provides us with the details and we’ll take it from there!
