Busy Betty

BETTY IS AN OPEN HAND CLIENT — AND A VIBRANT, GIFTED MOTHER WHO DOESN’T LET HER LIMITED MOBILITY SLOW HER DOWN.

“I do try to stay busy. I used to sew a lot, but now I focus more on my artwork. I’ve always enjoyed painting and drawing…a little bit of oil, a little bit of watercolor, pastel…whatever seems to suit my fancy at the time. In fact, I’ve done most of the artwork in my home. It’s just something I really enjoy. I also love to cook, though it’s a bit more difficult for me now. And I can’t get to the grocery store nearly as often as I used to. But I still like to discover new recipes and share them with my four sisters. We learned to love the kitchen from our mother, who was a wonderful cook.”
