Mark Tuesday, November 28th on your calendar for Giving Tuesday!
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving driven through the powerful connections of the community. Since 2020, we've raised over $130,000 from Giving Tuesday alone to support the love, dignity, and nutrition for our neighbors in need. That's enough to cover the fresh ingredients required for over 44,000 nourishing meals our neighbors in need count on.
This year, our fundraising goal is simple: $20,000 to support our mission as we continue to rapidly grow. Open Hand is one of the largest community-based nutrition agencies in the country. With nearly 97% of Open Hand clients living 200% below the national poverty level, we play a critical role in helping to meet their food and medical needs.
There are many ways you can get involved this month in our Giving Tuesday campaign:
- Give a gift anytime between now and November 28th
- Create your own fundraising page on behalf of Open Hand. Just click "Fundraise" on our GAGives page to get started!
- Volunteer with Open Hand. With the holidays approaching we need all hands on deck to ensure our neighbors continue to receive their meals!
- Share, like, and comment on our social media posts via Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn (@OpenHandAtlanta). This small act goes a long way in helping more people see our posts and support the nutrition of our neighbors!
